  • Paternity test

  • Prenatal paternity test

    A paternity test done before the baby is born. The test is done via blood drawn from the arm of the mother. Fetal DNA is circulating in the blood fo the mother and will be compared to a saliva sample from the alleged father. This test is done to determine with certainty if the tested man is the biological father.
  • Native indians and first nations

    A DNA test done to identify percentage of Native American DNA. If desired, the test can be done with a chain of custody such that the results meet the requirements of a court admissible proof.

Order a home collection kit

1 Order a kit online or by phone. The kit is payable with Visa or Mastercard.

2 Receive the kit at home.

3 Do the collection by swabbing the inside of the mouth.

4 Return the samples by mail for testing. The saliva samples will last more than 60 days.

Option 3 Send your samples directly to the lab

Send your samples directly to the lab

1 Print the form to fill. You will then do the collection using your own material such as Q-Tips. No kits will be sent to you by us.

2 Use Q-Tips if you intent to do a saliva collection by swabbing the inside of the mouth according to the instructions of the form.

3 Fill the page 6 of the form and include your payment: check, money order or credit card.

4 Send the samples by mail to our laboratory at the address indicated in the form on page 1.

Is the mother required?
For a DNA test between one alleged father and one child, the mother is not required.

What is the procedure?
It consist of collecting the saliva inside the mouth with cotton swabs. Alternatively, if saliva collection is not possible, special samples can be used.

Are the tests admissible in court?
Legal reports are available for all tests and cost 100 CAD +tax additional (with the exception of the prenatal test). For the prenatal test, the legal report is available for an additional 1795 CAD +tax.

How long for the results?
Paternity test: 8 business days.

Can I do the collection at home without ordering the kit?
Yes, it is possible if you have Q-Tips or cotton swabs and a printer. Print these instructions and return the samples by mail at the indicated address.

What is the minimal age for a child to do the test? There is no minimal age. The DNA test can be done as soon as the baby is born and the results will be accurate.
