Do I have to come the father and the child?

For a paternity test, the alleged father and the child must both be collected. It is recommended to both come at the same appointment because it is simpler. However, if this is not possible, two distinct appointments even at different locations can be had with additional fees of 50$+tax.

What are the preparations?

We ask to keep the mouth clean, meaning no drinking and no eating at least 30 minutes before the appointment. If you are doing a court-admissible DNA test, we will ask for 1 ID card for the alleged father. If the child is above the age of 18 years old, he or she will also need to have an ID card. In addition the centre will take a photo (certain locations only) or we will ask you to bring a passport-style photo for all tested participants.

How long is the appointment?

Approximately 15 to 30 minutes

Many laboratories will test as little as 6 genetic markers and as a consequence will provide incorrect results once in every 100 reports. Our laboratory will test up to 23 markers reducing the error rate to less than one in 1 BILLION.

DNAForce is a trusted name in Canada for paternity tests. All of our tests are done in an laboratory accredited by AABB, ISO 17025 and SCC.

A simple and painless mouth swab collection is sufficient to do a DNA test that will exclude paternity with an accuracy of 100% and prove paternity with an average accuracy greater than 99.9999%.

DNAForce offers the highest testing standards because we understand how important these results are.
